WHAT A WILD RIDE. Summer House is fab television and I am sad to see it go. but the thought of the cast coming back and filming this summer brings me a joy that i can’t quite put into words.

that being said, last night was the second and final part of the reunion. and let’s start there. this should have been a three parter for obvious reasons. how did Vanderpump give America a mediocre season and get a 3 part reunion but SH didn’t? we’ll never know.

i am going to do my best to keep my thoughts on this reunion clear and concise, and prevent myself from getting sued but if i’m being honest, it is going to be a v difficult task.

let’s start with the ciara and west of it all. if west thinks he can get better than ciara then he is out of his damn mind. was ciara not clear with her intentions and what she wanted? i’m confused. i’ve never witnessed a newbie flop SO HORRIBLY. the bravo world loved you west what have you done!! he broke up with her because of the show? what kind of attention is this man looking for? does he really wanna end up with some crazed bravo fan internet freak? i don’t get it. the man is 29 years old so i recommend perhaps leaning into his commitment issues and talking to a therapist about it because something ain’t right.

on the topic of ciara and west, their interview was the only part of the reunion where andy was tolerable to listen to. this man is known to be a great mediator and does a fab job at facilitating reunions year after year. but his one-sided takes last night were so disappointing and honestly, gross. it was like andy found joy in blindly defending carl. i mean he was even easy on kyle and amanda and kyle calling his wife a f*cking b*tch! wasn’t even addressed once. unreal.

like we get it, carl and lindsay were 1000000% not meant to be together. they broke up. they’re in better places and everyone’s happy. great. but to go on the reunion and not give lindsay the respect and platform to defend herself when she was supposed to marry that man is crazy to me. the cast & andy acted like lindsay deserved to get broken up with on national television because it’s what “she signed up for”. should she have accused her sober fiancé of being on drugs? absolutely not but she did apologize and they all sat there and continued to attack her. idk, maybe they liked carl’s shoes and that’s why they are #teamcarl. lindsay is nothing if not authentic, can’t say the same for carl. he knew what he was getting himself into. what a big baby.

now, the amanda and kyle of it all is some of the craziest tv i’ve ever seen. amanda, you’re husband cheated on you, you took him back, and he continues to not just drink, but get obliterated and stay out all night against your wishes. and he calls you names knowing there’s cameras around. in my eyes, the man has no respect for his marriage. so, respectfully, amanda, if you can please refrain from your smug looks and holier than thou comments the world would appreciate it. but i will say, she sure has come a long way from being the newbie rolling into the S2 reunion with her tail between her legs, begging the girls to be nice to her. i wonder if it was all an act? never forget your roots!

i know i’m ragging on amanda a lot but i do feel for her and her mental health. i’m glad that she is taking care of herself now. and i will forever hold out hope that amanda and jesse will ride off into the sunset together and maybe she can experience what it means to truly be happy in a relationship??

danielle was quiet last night. was she nervous that if she moved or showed emotion her 1950’s hair & makeup would get ruined? or were the producers worried that if they got into the danielle vs. girls drama it would take away from the cast takedown of lindsay?

all in all, it felt like an hour of horrible takes and bad fashion choices. jail for the summer house producers, carl’s shoes, andy, KYMANDA, danielle’s hair & makeup and west’s deodorant.

say it once, i’ll say it again- JUSTICE FOR GABBY.

ugh that felt good. i feel so much lighter. see you next season!
