Because it’s allegedly “summer”.
So, it’s May. I bought a ring light. I started a TikTok. I was ready to serve ✨sun-kissed glow✨ content. But the weather? The weather said, “Let’s give… sweater season.” Rude.
Anyway, I’m fully ignoring the chill in the air and pretending it’s 85 and sunny. This is my go-to makeup routine when I want to look glowy and effortless—but only have five minutes.

Here’s what I’m using to fake “summer skin” while secretly freezing:
1. Tinted SPF – Because if the sun does come out, I want to be protected and pretend I’m glowing from within (not just wind-chapped).
2. Liquid blush – Makes you look aliveeeee.
3. Brow gel – Fluffy brows = the illusion of having it together. Also, it’s the only thing I consistently do, so it’s staying.
4. Mascara – Just enough to fake the “yes I slept” look. (I didn’t.)
5. Gloss/balm – Preferably one that distracts from my seasonal denial and says, “I’m thriving.”

So yeah—five products, five minutes, and a commitment to summer even if the forecast in New England says otherwise. It’s giving dewy… it’s also giving seasonal confusion. Whether you’re actually enjoying the sun or just manifesting warmth from beneath a hoodie, this routine’s got you covered (literally and figuratively).
Catch the full routine on TikTok—ring light, cold hands, and all. And if you try it, tag me so we can collectively pretend it’s not still 60 degrees. 😅🌤️
