So, I’ve been a little MIA—my husband and I have been busy foster failing (again). Shoutout to my amazing friend Rikki and her incredible dog rescue, Outrider Dogs for the newest member of our pack, Ryder. He’s small, fast, and has zero respect for personal space—or home decor. And, I’m obsessed with him.

Ryder and Riggins are besties. Like, instant brotherhood. It’s like they took one look at each other and silently agreed to turn my house into a WWE arena sponsored by squeaky toys and torn-up rope. They sprint laps around the living room like it’s the Indy 500, and I’m just here dodging flying Kongs and silently accepting that I no longer live here—they do.

Let’s talk about Ryder’s hobbies.

They include:

• Interior design—specializing in scattering toys across every square inch of my home.

• Barking at nothing (very brave, very protective).

• Acting like a limp noodle when it’s time to go inside but transforming into a caffeinated kangaroo when it’s bedtime.

Riggins is thriving, Ryder is thriving, and I’ve got a camera roll full of blurry zoomies and snuggle selfies. I looooove it. 

So, welcome to the fam, little dude. You’re loud, you’re wild, you’re ridiculously adorable—and I wouldn’t change a single thing (except maybe your obsession with my shoes). Get ready to see a whole lot more puppy around here, fam.
